Purpose: To promote healthy ageing and wellbeing among AFSM members.

 

Responsibilities: The Committee is responsible for:

     a) the promotion of educational activities on the topic of healthy ageing to members;

     b) engaging and guiding AFSM’s member in support of the Decade of Healthy Ageing;

     c) representing AFSM in activities/projects with WHO and PAHO’s Ageing and Health Program.
